You may be thinking “I thought you lived in NW GA, but I see you posting photos from South GA”, well I grew up there and have strong ties to all things South GA. I am a southern gal through and through but it just so happens that I live about halfway between Atlanta & Chattanooga. With that being said, I love travel and anytime I get to take photos in a different location than where I live, I pack my bags and away I go.
I am a sucker for Spanish Moss & Palm Fronds and when Tim contacted me to be their wedding photographer, I knew right away that I would want to do their engagement photos in South GA. After some thought and research I settled on Skidaway Island for the engagement session and needless to say it didn’t disappoint.
On engagement session day Tim and Katie were super easy to talk to and new friendships were instantly formed. As we introduced ourselves to each other, it felt like we had known them forever! While walking around we talked about what makes them happy in life, their families, their wedding planning, and their jobs.
Sessions like these make me so very thankful for clients who could be our everyday friends outside of work! They will be getting married at Blueberry Plantation Inn & Country Club and I am excited for their wedding. After Katie showed me a peek of her wedding dress, I knew this will be a perfect match because it’s a beautiful location.
